Mid-Century Platinum Diamond Ring

$1,450 USD Item 12354

Mid-century American style was focused on a desire to rebound with economic determination in all phases of life. Jewelry was no exception and American designers were flourishing. Flowers and leaf motifs were back on the horizon and the acute angularity of the previous decades shifted to that of a more round and curved geometry.

Here the .40 carat transitional diamond (H-I color; SI clarity) round in shape takes precedence in its coronet platinum setting. The platinum ring is nicely appointed with two single cut diamonds set in a leaf shaped mount on each side. These accent diamonds harmoniously balance the symmetry of the central stone and bring the estimated total diamond weight to .42 carats of shimmering light.
