Edwardian Enamel Flower Perfume Pendant
Every once in a while we come across an object that immediately grabs our attention no matter what the piece may be. It seems to possess something so intriguing that we must have it. And this gold perfume bottle pendant charm fits right into that category. Reminiscent of the containers of classical Greece, this darling perfume flask is of solid 14k yellow gold. Scrolled gold handles appoint each side and provide a delicate symmetry for the little wonder of a jewel.
Sky and French blue enamel provide color for the petals of the solid colored flower motifs (with ochre enamel centers) that dot the wonderful pointillist-like texture of the golden surface. The hinged top repeats the pattern of the bottle and a matching texture yellow gold chain finishes the piece.
