Victorian Raj Era Tiger Claw Pendant
The mighty tiger is forever enshrined in 14k to 15k yellow gold. The collision of the British with the mystical Indian empire brought about exotic changes in jewelry. One was those shifts focused on the use of tiger claws. The exceedingly large claw has hand engraved gold cap, tip and side. The scalloped edges bring a nice touch to the pendant replete with gold link chain and top “O” fitting.
Measurements: 2-15/16 inches (7.4 cm) in length by 2-1/16 inches (5.2 cm) in width. This antique tiger claw pendant has a weight of 11.0 grams (7.0 dwt).
