Victorian Diamond Cluster Ring
This is just a heavenly antique cluster ring with design details that clearly demarcate a feminine ring. A gracious old mine cut diamond of approximately .40 carats (color J-K; clarity SI) is centered upon a silver-topped 18k yellow gold mount. The mount appears as a basilica with prongs of silver radiating outwardly in the form of an open air cupola that touches a surround of twelve (12) old mine cut diamonds about .60 carats for a total estimated diamond weight of 1 carat.
In the guise of structural columns, golden shoulders of a tripartite design provide an elegant and unexpected flourish of ionic inspired swirls which seamlessly transform into the silken delight of an antique band.
