Age of the Flapper: Art Deco Snake Bangle
This Art Deco snake bangle was made in such a sensuous and exciting manner that only the inimitable Roaring Twenties attitude of flappers and jazz music could bring to fruition.
Long and slinky, sybaritic coils of silver are self-indulgently lithely entwined around the arm. With wondrous details of serpent eyes, nose and jaw line, and the hiss can almost be heard as twist after twist of the snake patterned silver body embraces the arm. The bracelet must be wound around the arm; typically it does not slide off over the wrist and hand.
Measurements: 5/16 of an inch (0.9 cm) at the head in width and the body is just shy of 1/4 inch (0.5 cm) wide. This will fit a wrist of up to 7-1/4 inches—depending on size of arm may slightly compress or extend out as shown in our photographs.
Overall Scale: Thin but very long
