Our Guilty Pleasure - Steal of a Diamond Ring

SOLD
Item 11969

Pow! This is one luxe look for the recessionista budget...and it will be our little secret. An architectural Art Deco mount in 18k white gold, holds this glittering beauty of a .78 carat round brilliant diamond with color J-K and clarity SI-I. The central diamond is set within a square bezel giving it even more of a visual pop.

The stair stepped mount bewitchingly sets twelve (12) single cut diamonds (of about .10 carats) in an alluring descent toward a gradually tapered smooth white gold band accented with a wheat motif symbolizing fertility and life. Each gallery face of the mount is embellished with a set of matched flower designs. A total estimated diamond weight of .88 carats brings to the wearer a wealth of joy.

Measurements: 1/4 of an inch (0.6 cm) in width north to south on the hand and rises 1/4 of an inch (0.6 cm) from the finger. This ring has a weight of 2.5 grams (1.6 dwt).

Ring Size: US 6-1/8 (UK L-1/2; Euro 16.5, 52.5 mm) and can be easily sized to fit most hands.

Hallmarks: 18k and another blurred mark with a k.

Condition: Excellent; light wear to some minor detail; light wear to the flowers.

Date & Origin: Circa 1930 and is American in origin.

Note: All diamond weights, color grades and clarity are approximate since the stones were not removed from their mounts to preserve the integrity of the setting.
