Seashells & Petals - Antique Diamond Ring
The unusual and very striking 14k white gold mount sets this Edwardian old European cut diamond solitaire ring apart. The very beautiful estimated .42 carat diamond of G-H color and clarity SI (only due to a tiny white feather barely into the table or central part of the gem) is mounted in a decorated bezel within a hexagonal setting.
Impressive and arresting, the mount is adorned pierced and open metal work of flowers in an open nautilus shell design with floral embellished shoulders concluding with a reeded band.
