Retro Modern Rose Gold Link Bracelet
Similar to Georgian jewelry, precious metal jewelry of the late 1930s and early 1940s (that predated World War II) is not in abundance today as the majority was melted down and recast into what was deemed a “more fashionable” presentation for the later decades. Bracelets of the retro era typically were made using gold in a variety of colors with rose or pink gold taking the predominate role.
Oval medallions of 9k rose gold openwork align to create a more curvaceous profile. Joined by streamlined three dimensional links, the plaques take on an articulated and flexible form that enables the bracelet to drape sensuously around the wrist. The abstract trefoil design of the medallions with their textured perimeters adds to the visual interest of the bracelet. A hidden tongue and groove clasp integrated into a medallion nicely finishes the piece.
