Scarce Victorian Glass Pearl Gold Earrings
Victorian glass pearls rarely have rarely survived the journey through the last 150 or so years. We are fortunate to have come across a most elegant pair of pearl pendants with an elongated teardrop shape. Yellow gold gild metal caps with nicely incised banding add just the right detail. Rose gold hoops of 9k perfectly compliment the luminous glow of these très chic and scarce Victorian earrings.
Measurements: 15/16 of an inch (2.3 cm) in length by 1/8 of an inch (0.6 cm) in width. Weight of 1.8 grams (0.06 dwt) for the pair.
Condition: Very good; marriage of ear loops to glass pearls.
Date: Circa mid to later 19th century.
