Contemporary Jewels: Pink Sapphire & Diamond Earrings
A vivid pink sapphire of about 1.53 carats is showcased with ten (10) brilliant round cut diamonds with an estimated .75 carat weight to create a most striking earring. Resembling white and pink cornflowers, the pink sapphires have been prong set within a petal surround of bright sparkling diamonds placed in an open work “basket” of elongated platinum prongs. The hand-crafted mount is a combination of platinum with 14k yellow gold base and post. Quite dazzling in person with the pair having a total estimated diamond weight of 1.5 carats and 3.06 carats of pink sapphires.
Measurements: More than 1/2 of an inch (1.3 cm) in length by 7/16 of an inch (1.1 cm) in width 1/4 of an inch (0.7 cm) in depth. This pair of earrings has a weight of 4.5 grams (2.8 dwt).
