Twice as Nice: Old Mine Cut Diamond Earrings
Double drops of old mine cut diamonds set into 14k yellow gold bezels bring light and love to life. The top diamonds are about .30 carats in weight, H-I and J-K in color with VS2 clarity. One of the diamond drops is approximately .67 carats and the other about .52 carats, color J-K and K-L and clarity of VS2 and SI1.
All the gems read white and are shimmering with great life and fire. The total estimated diamond weight for the pair is a generous 1.85 carats. Simple yellow gold mounts have an open reeded band all around and are finished with gold lever back ear fitting
Measurements: 15/16 of an inch (2.3 cm) in length including ear wires by 1/4 inch (0.7 cm) at the widest. This pair of earrings has a weight of 3.1 grams (2.0 dwt).
Condition: Very good; tiny gap on one side of bezel and diamond.
Date: Diamonds are early 20th century; mounting is modern in date.
