French Fun in an 18k Paste Earrings

Beautifully set with an 18k rose gold coronet mount, old mine style cut pastes have the aura of diamonds yet with the advantage of being easier on thee pocketbook. The bottom paste has the visual appeal of a stone equivalent to 1/3 of a carat; the top weighs in at the equivalent of .05 carats. These French designed petite earrings showcase clear white pastes at their radiant best.
Condition: Excellent
Hallmarks: French eagle’s head and another imperceptible mark on the top of each ear wire.
Measurements: ½ of an inch (1.2 cm) in length by ¼ of an inch (0.6 cm) in width. The pair has a weight of 2.2 grams.
Date & Origin: Circa 1900 – 1910; French in origin.
