Intricate French Antique Bracelet
Intricate links of silver and rose gold over silver quatrefoil forms create a most elaborate yet delicate bracelet of French design. Large undulating floral shapes, with a textured pattern topped with faceted rose gold gilt pyramids, are joined by small flowers of silver and rose gold gilt. A spring clasp of silver suspends a dangling silver orb with a surface textured by tiny floral forms.
Condition: Very good with very light wear to the rose gold gilt at the edges and points seen when viewed very close or with magnification.
Hallmarks: Eagle’s head denoting France and another obscured mark.
Measurements: 7-3/4 inches (19.7 cm) long when worn and is 8-3/4 inches (22.2 cm) in total length by ˝ of an inch (1.3 cm) in width. If needed, this antique bracelet can be shortened one or more links if desired. Each link measures approximately ˝ of an inch (1.3 cm). The ball charm is 3/8 of an inch (1 cm) in diameter. The bracelet has a weight of 16.4 grams.
Date & Origin: Circa 1890 – 1900 and is French in origin.
