Arrows of Time - Diamond Sapphire Ring
Dazzling in every aspect, once this graces your finger it must remain. An old European cut diamond of 1.16 carats provides the central attraction with a lovely brilliant white I color and clarity of VS1. (This ring comes with a GIA certification for the central diamond).
It is partnered with sapphires in arrow or pointed motif, each side set with three small faceted sapphires. Surrounding this are twenty-four (24) accent diamonds in single, transitional and brilliant cuts. Sizes range from four melees to other diamonds at .03 to .06 carats for a total estimated diamond weight for the entire ring at 1.95 carats.
The mount is curved and domed in classic shape, finely made and finished with superb azuring (filing and finishing of the areas for the gems. Detail includes a linear channel with an arrow-shaped tip on each side. A timeless ring for a lifetime.

Condition: Excellent: Some wear to the shank with a few tiny scratches and scrapes evident with magnification.
Measurements: 7/16 of an inch at the widest and rises more than 3/16 of an inch off the finger (1.1 cm wide; 0.6 cm high off the finger. Currently a size 5-1/2 to 5-3/4 (UK K-1/2; Euro 16.25; 51 mm) but easily sized up or down by our expert jewelers.
Date: Central diamond is early 20th century, the ring mount and accent diamonds are mid to later 20th century.
Note: All diamond weights and grades for accent stones are approximate since the stones were not removed from their mounts to preserve the integrity of the antique setting.
This ring comes with a Gemological Institute of America (GIA) certificate for the main diamond and this stone has been removed for accurate weight and grading.
