Antique Edwardian Diamond Engagement Ring
Perfect partners are in alliance with a stellar old European diamond and a setting of domed openwork platinum. Striking and subtle, this gorgeous setting is intricately worked with motifs of scrolls, fan shapes, Fleur de Lys designs and curves. At its apex, the shimmering diamond is just shy of approximately .50 carats and has a radiant estimated color of F-G with clarity VS1 or better. The ring is hallmarked "platinum".
Condition: Very good. Small girdle wear to one spot about 1 mm in length; some wear to the mount with a tad bit of wear to the side designs; slightly out of round at the bottom. Otherwise excellent.
Measurements: 5/16 of an inch wide (.85 cm). Currently a size US 5-1/2 (UK K 1/2; Euro 16.25; 51 mm) but easily sized. Ask us about our expert jewelers.
