Antique Victorian Banded Agate Locket
A banded agate egg-shaped locket reveals with a twist. Each side has its own direction and flavor of agate - one side deep chocolate brown with white and bluish bands running horizontally; the other tones of cafe au lait tones with bands running vertically. Each is set in a simple golden metal bezel and opens to reveal a small locket compartment.
Condition: Very good with some interior edges/rim a bit out of round; small flaws within the agate itself noticeable in the interior. One stone has a tiny amount of play o within its bezel but is very secure.
Measurements: More than 1 inch (2.5 cm) in height including small top ring; 15/16 of an inch (2.1 cm) without top ring by 11/16 of an inch (1.8 cm) wide by 5/8 an inch (1.6 cm) deep. Weighs 7.2 grams.
