A suite of matching antique earrings and brooch from the Grand Period of the Victorian era make quite an entrance in yellow gold gilt over gilt metal with classic floral and leaf motif designs on both the earrings and brooch.
The brooch measures just less than 1-3/8 inches (3.5 cm) in diameter and is more than 3/8 of an inch (1 cm) in thickness. It has a weight of 10.7 grams. The earrings measure just less than 1-3/8 inches (3.5 cm) in total length including ear wires. The top round measures more than 3/8 of an inch (1.1 cm) in diameter and the bottom is ¾ of an inch (1.9 cm) in diameter. The pair weighs 9.7 grams. In excellent condition; original tube hinged pin and c-catch fastener. Dates to circa 1860 – 1870.
