Romance in an Early Victorian Emerald Ruby Ring
Although petite in scale, this lovely piece of early Victorian jewelry has ties to the Georgian era with similarities in design. In the tradition of a cluster ring, six (6) natural seed pearls gather intimately around a square cut emerald of .15 carats. Faceted rubies accent each shoulder which splits into two golden trails of lovely scrolled engraving that continues along the entire band. All the gems are enrobed in the warm glow of yellow gold. The reverse reveals a secret chamber that once held precious memories; the glass cover now lost to the sands of time.
