The word simple can rarely be applied to anything Victorian. Adding “weight” to that statement is this antique yellow gold over metal fob seal. With an un-carved white chalcedony matrix on the base, ornate scrolls, swirls and designs intricately cover the surface. Would be perfectly charming dangling from a chain link bracelet.
Measurements: Base is more than ˝ of an inch (1.4 cm) by ˝ of an inch (1.2 cm). The fob is just shy of 1 inch (2.4 cm) in height. Has a weight of 4.6 grams.
Condition: Very good to excellent; light overall wear commensurate with age and use.
