Edwardian Diamond & Turquoise Ring

$745 USD Item 10525

Delightfully petite in scale and dramatic in style and color, gemstones of turquoise create an impressive contrast for a constellation of twelve (12) brilliant white diamonds. A skillfully worked design sets a pair of rounded rectangular cabochons of turquoise within an oblong “cartouche” of gold accented north and south with a mêlée of rose cut diamonds. A horizontal band of old mine cut diamonds between .05 and .04 carats embraces the cartouche, three to each side. Flanking both the diamond band and the turquoise rest four (4) old mine cut diamonds approximately .01 carats in size. The estimated total diamond weight for the ring is .30 carats. All the stones are set into 15k yellow gold.

Measures more than 3/8 of an inch (1 cm) across with a weight of 2.7 grams. Currently a size US 7-1/2 (British O-½; Euro 17.75, 56 mm) and can be sized to fit most any finger. In excellent condition. Dates to circa 1915.

Note: All gem weights and sizes are approximate since the stones were not removed from their mounts to preserve the integrity of the setting.
