Art Nouveau Antique Diamond & Gold Ring

Immediately one notices that this ring is finely made, weighty for its size at 6.1 grams and beautifully wrought in 14k yellow gold. The sides are deeply chased with floral forms and sculptural relief with deep recesses. Competing for attention are three radiant old European diamonds. At approximately .25 carats for the center and .20 carats for its companions, the total estimated diamond weight is .65 carats. Colors range from G-H and S-VS.

Art Nouveau in every aspect, the rubbed over gold bezel is typical of the period as is the use of nature inspired themes and lush chasing. Circa 1890 - 1910.

Measures 1/4 of an inch (0.6 cm) wide and has a weight of 6.1 grams. Currently a size US 6 (British L-1/2; Euro 16.50, 52 mm). Can be sized up or down. In excellent condition.
