Simple, pure...the elements of the earth combined in a tailored sculpture. Eighteen (18k) gold hugs a shimmering .40 carat cushion cut diamond. Worn as smooth as butter, the ageless beauty of gold compliments the warm yet white diamond. A makers mark of "WW" is present as is a mark of 18 (for 18k). In very good condition, the diamond color is estimated at a G-H. The width of ring measures just under 3/8 of an inch (0.8 cm) at the widest. This is currently a size US 6-3/4 (British N; Euro 17-1/4; 53.5 mm) but can easily be sized to your fit by our master jewelers. Circa 1880.
Note: All diamond weights and color grades are approximate since the stones were not removed from their mounts to preserve the integrity of the setting.
