Edwardian splendor is apparent in this set of antique cufflinks. Oval cabochons of natural amethyst have been foiled and set into a closed back bezel of 14k rose gold. Each is just simply elegant with an elongated link coupling that securely joins the plaques.
Measures 9/16 of an inch in length by 7/16 of an inch wide by 5/16 of an inch deep (1.4 cm by 1 cm by 0.8 cm deep). Weight of 9 grams for the pair. The condition is very good with overall light wear as expected with age and use. Upon close inspection or with magnification a bit of variation (dark patches) in the foiling of two stones is seen but not truly visible when worn. Hallmarked 14k and dates to circa 1910. Sure to set off any cuff.
