The discovery of the ruins in Pompeii and of ancient jewels in Tuscany fired up a Victorian revival in ancient gold working techniques and style.

This 15k gold bracelet is detailed with intricate handmade high relief accents and Etruscan style granulation. The twisted wirework adorns the sides and smartly accentuates the handsome bezel set cabochon garnet placed on an oval plaque decorated with precisely applied beadwork. The hinged bracelet is secured by a tongue clasp. Please note the twisted border around the edges and the engraved details at the hinge.

Condition: In very fine condition; overall light wear age-appropriate surface wear on high points.

Measurements: The bracelet measures 13/16 of an inch at the widest tapering to 3/16 of an inch at the back (2 cm at widest and 0.9 for the back width) with the cabochon garnet measuring 5/8 of an inch long by 7/6 of an inch wide (1.5 cm by 1.1 cm). This will fit a wrist of about 6-½ inches or a bit larger.
