Story
An artful and detailed Victorian solitaire ring possesses an aura all its own.
As an anniversary ring, engagement ring, or just plain wonderful ring, it can also be stacked with a wedding band or others.
Dating to the Victorian era around 1890, the ring is 14k rose gold set with a scintillating old European cut diamond of distinction.
The diamond is placed in a coronet mounting, so-called as from the side it looks like a crown. It weighs in at .50 carats, bright and shimmering at H-I color, and clarity SI2-3 for clear inclusions only.
Its setting is equally captivating with classic Victorian styling adorned with black enamel to the shoulders, and linear patterns. These transition to a tapered polished shank.
Still engraved in the interior are the original couple's initials and last names.
